Why Bíó Paradís?
There are quite a few cinemas in Iceland, but one of the best ones is Bio Paradis. It is a small cinema where mostly independent films are shown, with the occasional classic, but the actual movie is just a small part of the experience. They make their popcorn fresh, and just walking past the outside of the place, the smell is already incredible. Also, the venue's atmosphere is just fantastic, very modern, yet still reminiscent of older cinemas.
